Awesome place to take the family. We go every year. Very clean but a little rundown.
This is a good campground. We were offered D6 site (ask for that if you are tenting), this spot is surrounded by RV's but it is quite nice. The campground is off the highway that makes the noise is not too bad. It is about 5 km from Salmon Arm, showers, and cleaning sinks are included in the overnight stay. They have mini golf, picked ball, hot tub and a swimming pool. Try their scones they are good - yummm. The only bad thing is the showers are too small and the shower curtains are nasty.
Showed up in the late afternoon and was able to get a cabin without reservation. it was a very nice campground with the communal swimming pool and coffee area. Small cosy hot tub. Cabins are small and Close together but cute . They don't come with any bedding so bring your own pillows and sheets. The host was fabulous and very nice . making coffee 3$ early in the morning. we only had a one night stay but could easy stayed longer . Camp sites are a bit far of a walk to the bathrooms witch there's only one It did have hot showers but the bathroom situation could be improved. Large dated communal bathrooms.
Not the quietest place. But love being here. Host are so nice and helpful. Fourth year coming.
Very good place to camp, have most of the facilities you need. The site is clean and quiet, depends on the location you are at. There is noise from traffic next to the hwy. Very good for families just want to get out of the city. Highly recommended!
