MONEY HUNGRY OWNERS! This beach is PRIVATE, which would have been good to know- but a local told us to head there for day use. We were very quickly and rudely turned away, unless we paid to stay the night. ItIS a beautiful beach though, with an outdated playground. Just ruthless owners. RUTHLESS.
Noisy as hell! Freight train runs regularly just meters from the campground! Next to the TransCanada highway, with traffic all night! Hardly slept all night! Won't come back here
Very nice beach area. Not very clear where to park. We enjoyed our walk. There are turtles in a small pond around this area
Nieces stayed here, and enjoy the sandy beaches, for their children. Bathroom (women's) could be updated, and it had no soap available, to wash hands.
Spent one night camping here. The only good thing I can say was we had met nice people. the gentleman that showed us our site was pleasant to communicate with. The Showers were outdated and remindered me of high school with limited privacy. The toilets were backed up twice. You have to buy their firewood. Which is fence post and hard to burn. We asked for a site with power and water. We got charged for but shared the water and had no power. The Shuswap is a section off and limited. Crowded when we went. More Trailer and RV camping not recommended for Tenting.
